Game Of Thrones Season 6: 10 Ups And 2 Downs From 'No One'
Ups...
10. Edmure And Jaime's Conversation
Who is this guy and what has he done with Edmure Tully?
The one we've known on the show so far has been rather useless, unable to even fire an arrow accurately to burn his father's dead body, and held captive ever since the Red Wedding. This Edmure, though, actually talks, and talks back, and seems to have a bit of a backbone. He even gets to play a more active role in things.
The best Edmure moment comes in his conversation with Jaime Lannister. The two share a fair bit of time together here, and Jaime unexpectedly opens up to him. Not in a rather heartfelt way, but more of a 'I will kill anyone to get back to Cersei' way. Still, the sentiment is there. Jaime drops the facade of being a noble or good person, and instead shows just how much of a lion he is. It's a strong moment for him, and very much pushes his storyline back towards Cersei and King's Landing, which is probably where Show Jaime needs to be (it's pretty much the opposite of how Riverrun serves the character in the books).
