9. Varys' Threats

Varys hasn't had too much to do since arriving in Meereen, mostly wandering the streets and trading quips with Tyrion. While I'd gladly watch a whole show of just those two, it was still good to see him have something a little meatier to do here, and one that allowed him to stand on his own and get back up to his scheming, web-weaving ways.

Here he works his trickery on a Meereenese prostitute, in order to gain the information about who has been aiding the Sons of the Harpy. It works like a charm, as the knowledge of the woman gleaned from his little birds takes hold, and she eventually goes like a fly into this spider's web. The overarching story in Meereen is still taking things pretty slowly, scenes like this means it's still fun to watch, plus we get to see Varys living up to his nickname.
