Game Of Thrones Season 6: 10 Ups And 2 Downs From 'The Broken Man'

3. It Looked Incredible

Game of Thrones Arya Braavos
HBO

Game of Thrones is a show known for looking cinematic, but this episode really stood out for some beautiful settings and shots.

The one above is the pick of the bunch, showing Arya looking out over Braavos with the TItan in the distance. It really shows off the sense of scale, and it's wonderfully framed, as Arya looks off beyond Braavos and hopes of heading that way to return back to Westeros.

It's not the only example though, with a few stunning establishing shot of new (or returning after a long time) locations, with the notable standouts being Riverrun and Bear Island. This is the third episode Mark Mylod has directed, but it's the one where he really makes his mark, with some excellent vistas and buildings that show off the best of Westeros and Essos.
