Game Of Thrones Season 6: 10 Ups And 2 Downs From 'The Broken Man'

4. Lyanna Mormont (And The Northern Roadtrip)

Sansa, Jon, and Davos go on a recruitment mission around the North this week, trying to rally various houses to their cause.

There's a good scene at House Glover, as he refuses to support the Starks after they weren't there to help his family, which brings us a a stirring speech from Sansa, even if it doesn't really help.

We also get to see their forces assembling, which brings with it the inevitable widling/Northerner in-fighting, and some tension brewing between Sansa and Jon, with the former writing a letter to someone (almost certainly Littlefinger).

All of this, however, is upstaged by a 10-year-old girl. Lyanna Mormont was mentioned by name in Season 5, but she shows up here and totally dominates the scene with three big, established characters. She's smart, loyal, headstrong, and after one episode I'm ready to call the banners, pledge allegiance to House Mormont, and raise her as Queen in the North. She may be the best ruler it has.
