Game Of Thrones Season 6: 10 Ups And 2 Downs From 'The Red Woman'

7. At Home With The Boltons

Game of Thrones Ramsay Myranda
HBO

So it turns out Ramsay Bolton has a heart. Who knew?

We find him sitting over the dead body of Myranda, his partner-in-sadism and the person he's come closest to feeling anything approaching love for.

It was weird to see, and I don't know where his sudden feelings of emotion have come from, though it's business as normal when he instructs his men to feed her to the dogs. Ramsay may care, but he's still Ramsay.

Even better, though, is when Roose enters the scene. He's not a character we've really seen enough of, but with Tywin Lannister gone he's the best 'evil, scheming father' we've got, and he does a great job of it. Ramsay may be a psychopath, but it's Roose who calls the shots, even if his son doesn't always fall into line.

The threats he makes to Ramsay here just ramp up the tension between the two, as Roose does his best to maintain control, and telling Ramsay about another heir on the way is setting things up for a potential clash between the pair. Walda probably needs to be careful.
