Game Of Thrones Season 6: 14 New Cast Members You Need To Know About

9. Sebastian Croft

Game Of Thrones Ian Mcshane
Curtis Brown

The Actor: Although only 13-years-old, Sebastian Croft has already managed to build a pretty impressive resume, with appearances in a number of stage productions. So far in his short career he has played the lead role in Oliver!, been Gavroche in Les Miserables, the titular character in a performance of Peter Pan, and as Adrian Mole in The Secret Diary of...

This represents a major leap to TV for the young actor, but if he can handle starring in the West End then he should certainly be up to the task here.

The Role: More flashbacks are coming this year, and Croft is going to be playing a pretty important character in them, as he'll be portraying young Ned Stark. Although obviously too young for the Tower of Joy scene, these sequences will no doubt be a part of the build-up to that.

From the leaked casting call, it'd appear he's fulfilling one of two roles; one called for a 12-year-old, the other a 7-year-old. Both are involved in scenes where they're sparring against each other, with the elder being "very grounded and physical and who you can instantly see has great heart and soul..." and it's described as "a very good and memorable new part."

The younger boy, meanwhile, is said to be "athletic and charismatic." Based on those descriptions, and Croft's age, it sounds much more like the 12-year-old is young Ned Stark.
