The Actor: Even if you don't know the name, or where you recognise him from, there's a very good chance you've seen Kevin Eldon on your screen before, as he has appeared in a huge number of British shows and films over the last couple of decades, including the likes of Hot Fuzz (as Sergeant Tony Fisher) Four Lions, The IT Crowd, Green Wing, and Knowing Me, Knowing You with Alan Partridge.

He also had his own television series, It's Kevin, which aired on BBC, and made an appearance in the Martin Scorsese film Hugo.

The Role: Yet another member of Richard E. Grant's theatre troupe, Eldon will have one of the lead parts in the play, and that is believed to be the role of Robert Baratheon's best friend, and the sorely missed, Ned Stark. He's said to be a flamboyant character, and it would appear that Eldon certainly has the comedic abilities to make this small role a memorable one.

It's worth noting that, if they're following the book, then the play in question is called the Bloody Hand, which depicts the events surrounding Robert's death at the hands (or rather tusks) of a boar. No news yet on whether the animal has been cast...
