7. The Freys Will Return
This was a nice surprise. Well, it was a surprise at least, as I'm not sure the return of the man partly responsible for the deaths of two major characters (and many more minor ones besides) can be considered particularly nice.
The return of Walder Frey had been mooted beforehand, but it's very much confirmed here, with a few of his family members in attendance as well.
Quite what is happening here is less clear, as it looks like a similar setup to the Red Wedding, and maybe it is just a flashback. That seems a bit of a waste though (no one needs reminding of that event), and it'd be good to see them involved in something new. This could be another wedding, or just a celebration of their alliance with the Lannisters and Boltons, meaning they're going to be brought right back into the conflict this year after sitting out for the last couple (and if a few of those Freys are baked into a pie, then all the better).
