Game Of Thrones Season 6: 25 Most Epic Moments

Jon Snow's decision to let the Wildlings past the Wall was ultimately what got him killed, so it's fitting that it's that act that saves him as well. The show hasn't shied away from depicting the Wildlings as barbaric, but thanks to characters like Ygritte, Mance Rayder and especially Tormund, we've grown to sympathize with them.

We all wanted to see Alliser Thorne get his comeuppance and who better to deliver it than the people he hates the most. Seeing Tormund and the others burst through the gates and the mutineers wetting themselves was a pretty satisfying sight. And even better was watching Wun Wun pancake a poor fool on the wall.

It's the kind of reversal of heroes and villains that Game of Thrones loves. From the first season, the Night's Watch has claimed to protect the realm from the Wildlings. Even Jon saw them as his enemy for a long time, but now when his own men turn against him, they're the ones who come to avenge him.
