1. Ser Davos The Brave

Up until now, the cult heroes of the show have mostly been the more showy anti-heroes and slightly detached cool guys (like Stannis, Littlefinger and Varys), but on the back of this trailer (and indeed the first one), there's a new MVP who is bound to pick up more adulation this season.

The Onion Knight has so far been a rather sinned against character, offering a voice of reason to Stannis when Melisandre was busy telling him to kill his daughter and steal everyone's blood. His impressive Geordie lilt and amiable demeanour towards his King, despite having seen his fingers chopped off by the same man made him a bit of a wet blanket, but he was charming enough.

Now though, he's ascending to the vacated spot of Northern bad-ass. He might not be a man of violence, but it's on his command that the Wildlings seemingly go to war (hopefully alongside Jon Snow), and he's the new bell tolling against the coming of winter. And seeing Liam Cunningham given more to do and a cooler character all round is a great thing - even if he'll inevitably get killed off as soon as we love him too much.

And now on to the issues...
