1. A Goodbye To Daario?

There’s something about the tender exchange between Daario and Danaerys that suggests melancholy, as if this is a goodbye. Perhaps he’s telling her that he cannot cross the sea with her? Or maybe she’s decided that once Jorah Mormont comes back covered in stoney scales that he’s the one for her?

Relationships of passion don’t often last long in Westerns (oddly aside from Cersei and Jaime, though that hasn’t exactly been plain sailing): they usually end up with one of them dead and full of holes. Could this be the first one to fizzle out quietly?

And does that mean we won’t see Daario next season at all? As Tyrion says, Dany is in the terrifying Great Game now, and she’s got far more important things to concentrate on than her hairy warrior man.
