Game Of Thrones Season 6: 7 Things You Need To Know About Euron Greyjoy

6. A Bad-Ass Pirate

A key part of Euron's character is that he's not just a pirate, but one of the most dangerous and feared pirates across the whole of Westeros and even beyond. He commands a ship called Silence, so named because it is manned by a mute crew, as Euron cut all of their tongues out. Although part of House Greyjoy, he does also have his own personal coat-of-arms: a red eye with a black pupil, beneath a black iron crown supported by two crows. Since his banishment from the Iron Islands he has sailed all over the known world, pillaging and raping along the way. He even claims to have journeyed as far as Asshai and sailed the Smoking Seas, and also boasts that he has walked among the ruins of Valyria.
