Game Of Thrones: Season 6 - 8 Clues From "Battle Of The Bastards" Trailer

4. Jon Snow Doesn't Want To Be Revived Again

Game Of Thrones Jon Melisandre
HBO

Aside from his perpetual grumpiness, we've not really seen too much of the cost of Jon's return from the dead, despite Thoros' assertion that each return loses something of the returned. And he was already a grump anyway.

Perhaps this exchange with Melisandre - in which he demands that she doesn't revive him if he falls - will hint at what it has cost him. Perhaps he is haunted to the point where death would be welcome? He's clearly not as singularly determined as Beric to live out his reason d'etre.

If he's the chosen one and he does die, it's remarkably bloody selfish of him to refuse revival, but then it's not likely HBO will kill Snow off twice in two seasons. Is it?
