Game Of Thrones Season 6: 8 Things You Might've Missed In 'Home'

4. Melisandre's Last Leech Worked

Who killed Balon Greyjoy?

As discussed, it's Euron Greyjoy who delivers the fatal push, but the Crow's Eye isn't solely responsible for the death of the King of the Iron Islands. Some of that blame has to be shared by Stannis, Melisandre, and (unwittingly) Gendry.

Yes, he may still be rowing, with no return in sight, but those leeches Melisandre used on him in order to obtain his King's blood are still paying off.

They'd already accounted for Robb Stark and Joffrey Baratheon, and now, after a long-delay, they've claimed the life of Balon. Not that it matters now Stannis is dead.
