Game Of Thrones Season 6: 8 Things You Might've Missed In 'Home'

One of the highlights of the Winterfell flashback, outside of a young, talking Hodor (sorry, Wyllis!) was the brief scene of Ned and Benjen fighting with wooden swords.

It's here that Ned offers some advice to his brother, telling him: "Get your shield up, or I'll ring your head like a bell."

If that sounds familiar, it's because it's the exact same thing that Jon Snow said to Olly when he was training him in Season 5, right down to the ruffle of the hair. Does this mean that Benjen is alive, and he's going to come back and kill Ned Stark, who obviously isn't dead, because fan theories!?

There are a couple of other callbacks here as well though, such as Lyanna's hair being braided the same way as Sansa's back in Season 1, which is the Northern style. And then there's where we see Bran and the Three-Eyed Raven standing, looking down on the kids fighting in much the same way Ned and Catelyn did in Season 1. Simply a callback, or there because Bran is now the rightful Lord of Winterfell?
