Game Of Thrones Season 6: Every Death (So Far) Ranked Worst To Best

4. Alliser Thorne, Olly And The Betrayers

As soon as it was revealed that Jon Snow was on his way back from the grave, it seemed inevitable that the treacherous dogs behind his death would be dealt with. And no matter how difficult it was for Snow, it had to be done for cathartic reasons and to herald Jons return as a man of action.

So seeing the betrayers strung up waiting to die should have been a good sight - and it at least partly was. But as each of them reminded us, they were also simple man, bound either by blind duty or personal vengeance, and they had their reasons for taking extreme actions.

The great thing about Game Of Thrones is that even the deaths of the most despicable characters - the killers of Jon Snow - are difficult to watch. Were initially invited to cheer their demise, but then the lingering shots of Olly taking his last desperate attempted breaths are incredibly difficult.

Still, good riddance, eh?
