8. Benjen Delivers Bran South Of The Wall
Coldhands Benjen has one purpose: take Bran Stark back to
relevance. He has spent enough time north of the Wall and now he should return
to Winterfell. Benjen may not make it that far, but he will surely be able to
guide Bran to Castle Black at least.
Following Hodor’s sacrifice (still raw), Bran lacks a vehicle to transport his body around the land and that is essentially the job for Benjen, and if the Tower of Joy flashback is unlocked, Bran must race to Winterfell to break the world-changing news to Jon himself.
The Night’s King could make a reappearance in the finale to prevent Bran from going far, but mistakes will have been learned from and the wights will be kept at bay. Right?
