7. Daenerys Sets Sail, Encounters The Iron Fleet
Theon and Yara’s emergence in Meereen was surreal. The cold,
hard , iron-clad Greyjoys were a stark contrast to the burnt, orange, sandy
city occupied by Daenerys.
They have ships, and combined with those of the masters, they have enough to transport their Dothraki screamers, Second Sons, Unsullied forces and a trio of outrageously large dragons. But with Euron’s lack of action over the last few episodes, he’s nailed on to return.
It makes sense that if Daenerys finally makes her move and sets sail, she will encounter the full Iron Fleet. Will she negotiate? Will she send her ‘children’ off to teach Euron a lesson? Time will tell, but a Daenerys/Ironborn clash looks fairly certain.
