Oh, so Varys can teleport now?

That was the initial reaction when Varys appeared on Daenerys' ship at the very end of The Winds of Winter, due to the fact he was in Dorne earlier in the episode. However, not clearly noticeable first time around is the presence of the Martell sigil on some of the ships, meaning he came back over on a boat, and quite a bit of time has clearly elapsed between the two scenes (the carved dragon heads on the ships also indicate this).

Of course, this is something of an ongoing problem within Thrones, and it can be jarring at times (Littlefinger is generally the most guilty), but it comes down to the fact that different stories are moving at different speeds. We might see a day pass in one arc, while weeks go by in another. It can be confusing, but it's better than leaving characters out for large periods at a time.

Also in this scene is the sigil of House Tyrell, meaning Olenna did indeed decide to align herself with the Mother of Dragons in order to get revenge on Cersei.
