Game Of Thrones Season 6: Predicting The Entire Plot In 10 Steps

9. Iron Islands

You can almost guarantee the Kingsmoot story will factor into Season 6. One of the few source material storylines that hasn't played out on the show follows the Ironborn so you can expect much of their upcoming appearances to roughly follow the books. Balon Greyjoy is killed after falling from one of the high rope bridges during a storm, though it's speculated that Euron, his brother, actually caused his death in order to steal the crown. Euron could well turn into a fan-favourite, despite his villainous life of raiding and pillaging his way along coastlines. He's a pirate, and a mad one at that, with a lust for power and he eventually wins the battle for the Iron Islands' highest position ahead of Yara Greyjoy and Victarion, another brother of Balon. It's unclear whether Victarion will feature in Season 6, though if he does, his mission has been left dangling in the books to sail across the Narrow Sea and marry Daenerys, in turn taking control of her dragons. Some have speculated whether or not Yara could absorb most of his storyline, though sending her off to Meereen with the potential of marrying the heterosexual Daenerys may prove troublesome. While this is going on, there's every chance Euron may begin invading parts of Westeros to gain a foothold on the mainland and feed his delusion of claiming the Iron Throne.
