Game Of Thrones Season 6: Predicting The Entire Plot In 10 Steps

5. King's Landing

King's Landing is such a phenomenal pit of politics. Jaime will return with Myrcella's body, a heart-breaking moment for all concerned, though Cersei will not meltdown as many expect. Instead she will state that Myrcella was dead the minute Tyrion shipped her off to Dorne. She will step up her efforts to protect Tommen in order to defy her prophecy, but he will FINALLY grow up and show some sparks of authority. He will begin to turn on Cersei, and that will torment her. Meanwhile, Margaery will begin to wriggle free of the High Sparrow's clutches to the point where he lets her go. This was all in his plan though. He never intended to severely punish Margaery; he wanted to show her mercy and escalate her hatred for Cersei in an attempt to win the Tyrells to his cause and keep food flowing into the city. The Faith have huge power, but an alliance with the Tyrells could be necessary to keep the peace. Olenna will oversee events, and Loras' execution may have to be another price paid by the Tyrells to reclaim Margaery, keep the Faith appeased, and keep the House's feet in King's Landing. Cersei will demand a trial by combat for her own crimes and this is the point where The Mountain's purpose becomes known. He will be her champion, and there's a potentially spectacular fight in store...
