Game Of Thrones Season 6: Predicting The Entire Plot In 10 Steps

2. Castle Black

There's no doubting that the events at Castle Black will shape Season 6 and beyond. Yes, Jon will make his much-hyped comeback, and yes, Melisandre will be the one who achieves that. Events will begin with a seriously awkward conversation between Davos and the Red Priestess, but very quickly, things will escalate. Davos has lost everything he was loyal to. His allegiance is up for grabs, and the trailer distinctly shows him aligning with Jon. Melisandre will have her eureka moment, and realise the hero she spoke of wasn't Stannis, but it was Jon all along. The pair will rapidly plot the resurrection, while the Night's Watch traitors will realise what could be about to happen. They'll attempt to hack their way in to finish off Davos and Melisandre, but it'll be too late. Melisandre will give her life to bring Jon back, giving her a glorious sacrifice and slight redemption. The theory that Jon's soul is currently inhabiting Ghost the direwolf could be entirely feasible due to his warg abilities, and it will culminate in the most badass 'eyes flash open' shot imaginable. Jon will return with a similar personality, though like Beric Dondarrion, he'll be slightly altered. This could boost his ruthless streak as he shows no mercy to the traitors who killed him. Alliser Thorne & Co. will all be executed, including young Olly, who made his choice, and chose incorrectly. Jon will analyse the situation and decide that ploughing on to reclaim Winterfell will give the Northern Lords freedom to help defend the Wall. Davos will be installed as Lord Commander for the foreseeable future as the threat from the walkers grows.
