Okay, so what is actually happening here? It's one of the most insane moments of the promotional material to date. The first trailer showing Bran Stark turn to see the Night's King over his shoulder was crazy enough, but people could put it down as a 'vision'.

Then things became more peculiar after realising the White Walker chieftain was looking directly at Bran. Still, maybe the big boss man can see spirits, or maybe it was just a dream, but the new trailer has thrown a whole new light over what's going on. But fans are still no closer to working it out.

The Night's King can see Bran, he can react to him, and he can physically touch him. Is Bran Stark having an immensely immersive dream, vision, out-of-body experience or is he genuinely standing there surrounded by the White Walkers. It's a baffling moment, but it appears to be making Bran Stark one of the most relevant side-characters around, to the point where he could become a genuine presence in the world.
