2. What. Is. THAT?
Does anything really need to be said about this snapshot? Ice meets fire, the Night's King meets his opposition? It's a stunning image, and it simply can't be placed or given much weight considering the lack of context, but it's still fun to speculate.
There are a couple of suggestions. One is that this is the Night's King burning down the Three-Eyed Raven's tree, based on the fact that a few twigs or branches appear to be poking into shot at the foot of the flames.
Another suggestion revolves around that faint shadow in the flames at the corner of the Night's King's left shoulder and neck. Is that a figure in the fire? Is this the comeback we've all been waiting for? It's far too unclear to say with certainty, but imagine the scene. The Night's King approaches the flames, Jon rises and steps out of the fire, toe-to-toe, rising music, cut to black, end of Season 6... (That won't happen, but IMAGINE.)
