Game of Thrones Season 6: 10 Things That Absolutely Shouldn’t Happen

8. Cersei Dies

If you were to take a rough poll of Thrones fans as to who they think may perish in Season 6, a large chunk would undoubtedly slam their money on Cersei biting the dust in Season 6. They probably wouldn't be too unwise in making that decision, after all, she's in a horrendously precarious position, whether she sees it or not.

The public's perception of Cersei will have fallen considerably during her walk of shame, meaning not only will she be hated for her animosity towards the commonfolk, but she'll only command a fraction of the fear and authority she once struck into the hearts of the King's Landing civilians. She's a strong bet for death in Season 6, though it could be a huge mistake.

Characters have been dispatched to the grave or dispersed across the land since Season 1, yet Cersei remains in the capital. She IS King's Landing. She symbolises everything it stands for. She's the reason we care about seeing developments in the city. If Cersei dies, the entire location loses a big chunk of its relevance, and suddenly the Red Keep politics won't seem half as interesting without her.
