One of the worst kept secrets about Game of Thrones Season 7 is that Gendry will, at last, be returning to the series. Last seen rowing to King's Landing at the end of Season 3, his return isn't confirmed in any official capacity, but it's widely believed that he'll be back.

Given how big that is going to be, even with the news largely getting out, it's not a surprise that he has been hidden away in the marketing for it. Gendry's return will be a big occasion, given how beloved he is by fans, and is likely now to be saved for the show itself. The question is just how and where it'll happen.
