Game Of Thrones Season 7: 10 Quotes Which Foreshadow Big Things In Season 8
7. Arya: "I'm Just The Executioner. You Passed The Sentence."
When Was It said? Episode 7: The Dragon and the Wolf
Sansa finally saw through Littlefinger’s manipulation and sentenced him to death at the hands of her little sister. The Stark pack has survived and is watching over Winterfell.
What Does It Mean? Firstly, that Arya and Sansa are on the same page. They might never have been close, even as children, but this is as united as they have ever appeared.
That might be because they have each found their purpose. When they were younger, Sansa wanted to be a queen; Arya a knight. In a strange way, down two strange paths, they have become a version of what they wanted to be - an assassin and the Lady of Winterfell.
“The man who passes the sentence should swing the sword,” Ned Stark told his children. Not any longer in Winterfell. Sansa will pass the sentence, and Arya will be her executioner.
The youngest Stark girl will use her faces, and needle, to kill her family’s enemies at Sansa’s behest. That is bad news for Cersei and anybody else who crosses them in season eight.
