7. What Do The Cave Drawings Mean?

In this week's history lesson, Jon Snow tells Daenerys about the Children of the Forest and the First Men, with the cave drawings to prove it. They're a handy plot device, as they help Jon convince Dany that the threat is real, but could there be more to the drawings?

After all, it's doubtful that, during the Long Night, the CotF were just sitting around doodling for the sake of it. Maybe this scene is the intended purpose, but we also see some strange circular patterns, the sort we've seen associated with White Walkers before?

Does that mean there are deeper clues hidden in these cave markings, or is that just trying to read way too much into some rather impressive pictures?
