Game Of Thrones Season 7: 13 Biggest Rumours You Need To Know

It was reported at the outset of filming that Thrones was shooting at a new location, and the exact spot was to be the Dragonpit. Not something we've seen in the show before, the Dragonpit is a huge building that sits atop Rhaenys' hill in King's Landing. Used by Targaryens to house their dragons, it was destroyed during the Dance of the Dragons. Now it's in a ruined state, its doors not opened for over a century.

Until Daenerys arrives, anyway.

However, the Dragonpit being back in use is only the small part of the rumour. While it's not clear what goes down there, or which characters share screentime, there are a number of characters supposedly filming scenes there.

Daenerys, of course, and her council: Tyrion, Varys, Missandei, Theon, and Jorah (though he might just be a rock). Jon Snow, Davos, Brienne and Pod, all presumably on her side too. Then the opposition: Cersei, Jaime, Qyburn, Euron, Gregor, and Bronn. And perhaps the wild card here, Sandor Clegane!

There are so many character histories there, so many different stories and match-ups. It's like Captain America: Civil War's airport scene, only even more ridiculous. It's unlike anything Thrones has done before. It remains to be seen why they're there and what goes down, but WOW.
