4. Nymeria Returns

With the entire fandom waiting with baited breath for the return of Gendry, the second episode of Season 7 appears to be bringing back another fan-favourite character. Nymeria, Arya's direwolf, is about to return after being absent since the first season.

The way the trailer is cut seems to suggest that her reunion with Arya is going to be an angry one - suggesting the show will follow the book storyline of her having reverted to her wild side and formed her own pack - but it's unlikely the direwolf will turn on Arya when she saved her.

It's likely that this meeting is what drives Arya back to Winterfell, rather than heading to King's Landing to kill Cersei. Either she sees Nymeria comfortable with her direwolf family and realises the strength in unity, or she's filled with an overwhelming sense of nostalgia that pushes her heart home. And that's good, because she'd die in King's Landing, training or no training.

Arya looks shook, but in reality this might be a reaction to what brings Nymeria out to save her, rather than to Nymeria herself...
