5. Dany The Dragon

No more the demure, shy figure she cut in the first couple of seasons, Dany has arrived as a true Targaryen. She is a fearsome warrior finally justifiably wearing the mantle of Mother of Dragons, and Olenna Tyrell would be absolutely delighted with the direction she's taking.

She's now really flexed her muscles and shown what only one of her dragons can do, shaking off Cersei's biggest defence against them fairly simply, and there's definitely a sense that she's blossoming into something her family would be very proud of.

There's no getting around the fact that we're supposed to see Dany as a danger now: she's on the warpath she's been skipping on the edges of for years and it feels like we're heading towards a final escalation. Which, of course, we are.

Something is going to have to change for Dany to come off this path of killing everyone. Could it be Jaime who reasons with her? It will be interesting to see what happens when the daughter of Aerys Targaryen meets the Kingslayer, but it might be his story of her father's tyranny that makes her see sense.
