5. The Group End Up Surrounded (But Reinforcements Come?)

As we've already seen from the early pre-season trailers, Jon's party end up blasted by a storm (presumably announcing the appearance of White Walkers rather than just lowly wights) and form a defensive circle to protect themselves.

This is all the ground-level reveal of this shot from those trailers.

Notice, there are more here than the seven once more, which could suggest that this happens early on before they encounter the horde and the White Walkers.

There's also a distinct hint that reinforcements arrive, as we get a shot of a small party rushing to the gate at Eastwatch (the spikes at the bottom of the gate ensure it

Quite who they are remains to be seen, but that long cloak on the leading man could suggest Dolorous Edd? How the hell he manages to get to Eastwatch remains to be seen, but it's definitely a cloak of a Crow. Perhaps word got to him and he came as soon as he could?

Could this group be the added numbers we see join Jon's party? Or are they merely those at Eastwatch who welcome what remains of the raiders back to the castle when they arrive back in a hurry, battered and bruised? That seems to have more sense.
