6. "We're Going To Need A Bigger Boat"

When Jon and his men come face to face with the Night King's army, there was never a chance that it would be a quiet affair. By the look of this shot, the wights are going to appear like an angry swarm of undead wasps with a kicked-up nest.

Jon's face says it all. BROWN ALERT! We're going to need a bigger boat/lots more of the Hound/more Dragonglass... delete as appropriate. He's very suddenly hit with the enormity of the situation.

Later there's also a reverse shot of the chase that we saw in the first trailers, with Jon's already reduced party (they're back to seven at this point) racing across the open snow to get to higher ground. Notice the wights here are far less decomposed - they're fresh, risen from the Wildlings who have been absorbed at Hardhome and elsewhere along the way.

This is good news, as it means a smaller budget for effects (those Harryhausen skeletons must have cost far more to paint in), and more chance for lots and lots of extras.

That rocky outcrop they're heading towards is the same one we've seen in previous trailers...
