1. BUT Tyrion Came Up With The Plan

There's one slight gap in logic here. If the Night King was behind all of it, how come it was Tyrion who came up with the plan to go and get a wight, rather than someone who could be directly influenced, like Bran?

There is still an explanation. The Night King didn't implant the plan in Tyrion, he merely saw it being suggested in the future (since it came after he'd already attacked Hardhome and taken the chains) as he shares powers with Bran and set the rest of his plan in place to trap Jon and Dany.

The illogical danger of the plan simply follows on from Tyrion's quite incredible knack for suggesting entirely the wrong plans - that's why he's been set up as a bit of an idiot this season (and not a war-time consigliere as the Godfather would put it): as a gift to the Night King (and not just Cersei).
