Game Of Thrones Season 7: Every Death Ranked From Worst To Best
8. Thoros Of Myr (And All Those Redshirts)
Cause Of Death: Died from the cold beyond the Wall, after suffering wounds from a wight snow bear (a number of Redshirts were also killed by the bear, or just wights in general, in Beyond The Wall).
If you were betting on which of the Magnificent Seven would die beyond the Wall, then Thoros would've been the heavy favourite. His death didn't have the same impact that of any of the others would've, but it still made for a strong exit all the same.
The writing was on the wall after the bear attack, but he clung to life long enough to die from a combination of those wounds and the cold, which is quite fitting for a servant of the Lord of Light, with Beric paying tribute to his fallen comrade. The Redshirts didn't fare quite so well, as they appeared out of absolutely nowhere to provide fodder so our heroes could live.
