Game Of Thrones Season 7 Finale: 10 Major Predictions For 'The Dragon And The Wolf'
10. Littlefinger Is Killed
Petyr Baelish has been playing a dangerous game in the last couple of episodes, trying to pit the Stark sisters against each other so he can gain control. So far he's played it about as well as possible, with Arya and Sansa very much at odds (or at least that's how it seems at face value), but he should be about to get his little fingers burned.
With the attention increasingly turning to the Great War, there's not much room for someone like Littlefinger in the eventual endgame, which means he needs to be taken off the board permanently, and this is a good time to do that. Crucially, one of the only things from the main season trailers we still haven't had is Sansa's "the lone wolf dies, but the pack survives" line, which feels like a comment that'd be made to show the Starks are staying together. It'd even be a great line to say before one of them drives that catspaw dagger into him.
There has to be a real purpose to that dagger returning, after all, and the way it's been passed from Stark to Stark. Perhaps Sansa will deliver the fatal blow, perhaps it'll be Arya, but either way it's much easier to see that happening than the sisters fully turning on each other.
