Game Of Thrones Season 7 Finale: 10 Major Predictions For 'The Dragon And The Wolf'
9. Theon Fails To Save Yara
One of the dangling threads of this season that should be resolved in the finale is that of Theon, Yara, and Euron. Yara was taken at the end of episode 2, appeared as Euron's prisoner in episode 3, and hasn't been seen since (and nor has Euron). Theon, meanwhile, found his way back to Dragonstone, but again hasn't had anything else to do.
He falls down on the beach at Dragonstone in the image above, but later in the trailer we see him onboard the ship to King's Landing. There's a good chance he won't be part of the Dragonpit meeting, but instead goes off on his own mission.
For Theon's story to be completed, he needs to try and save his sister, but it seems like a move destined to fail. He's no match for Euron, and it'd be more interesting for the character to see him try and fail to rescue her in the same way she did with him. Theon may live a little while longer, but it allows him to eventually die knowing he at least tried, and truly found himself again.
