8. How Will The Golden Company Be Used?

As part of Cersei's grand plan, Euron Greyjoy is on his way to Essos to collect the Golden Company and bring them over to Westeros. Once they've arrived, she'll set about claiming as much land as possible while the real war is being fought in the North.

It's an intriguing prospect, not least because the Company are the most famed group of sellswords around yet have never appeared on the show, and they also happen to have elephants, which has to make it into the series.

Again, though, with so little time, how much will the Golden Company be used? Are they going to be seen once then set off taking lands, without actually appearing much, or could they have a solid run on the show? Will we get to meet any familiar characters, either to book readers (someone like Harry Strickland) or viewers (there's the slim possibility Daario could've gone and joined the Company)? And just how much of this will really matter, since Cersei's plan is surely destined to ultimately fail?
