Game Of Thrones Season 7 Finale: 11 Big Questions After 'The Dragon And The Wolf'

3. Will Jaime Kill Cersei?

One of the best moments in the finale comes when Jaime Lannister finally walks away from sister Cersei (despite her insistence to the contrary), which brings his arc closer to where it is in the books.

It's long been theorised that Jaime will be the one to kill Cersei, serving as the valonqar and wrapping his hand around her pale throat, and him finally stepping away from his sister's side is a big move towards that - and we even linger on him covering up his gold hand, in case it wasn't clear enough.

While there are other contenders to be the one who kills Cersei - including Tyrion, Arya, and the child growing inside her - Jaime being the one is the most poetic option, and something we should see in Season 8. Although he's riding North the two will surely cross paths again, and since she's not going to help save the realm (and is more likely to hasten its destruction) it will likely end in her demise.
