2. Winter Comes To King's Landing

Though the White Walkers and wights have so far taken the most ridiculously protracted time to get from the far North to the Wall (despite not needing to rest and recuperate), there's a big rumour that they will make the journey further south at a speed more in fitting with the show's increasingly lax commitment to sensible travel times.

There is some suggestion - and very compelling it is too - that the final shots of the finale will see snow fall on King's Landing, which is why Cersei can be seen in the finale trailer wearing thick furs.

On top of that, the soundtrack has another hint once more, as the album ends with two ominous tracks - "The Army of the Dead” and “Winter Is Here.” Even though we'd probably all have been happy with the Night King's final act this season being the awakening of Viserion, it sounds an awful lot like we'll see them again.
