Game Of Thrones Season 7 Finale: 7 Things You Might've Missed In 'The Dragon And The Wolf'

1. The Pack Survives

"When the snow falls, and the white winds blow, the lone wolf dies, but the pack survives."

Ned says this to Arya in A Game of Thrones, and she herself recalls it in A Feast For Crows. There, however, she thinks her father had it backwards, because she - the lone wolf - had survived, while the pack had died. Sansa quotes their father here - at the end of a season very heavy on references and callbacks to Ned Stark - to prove he was right all along.

This scene also takes place on the walls of Winterfell, which directly mirrors the scene with Jon and Sansa from the Season 6 finale - when, again, they referenced their father.
