Game Of Thrones Season 7 Finale: Predicting Who Lives & Who Dies

10. Jorah Mormont

HBO

Where He'll Be

At the Dragonpit, alongside his Khaleesi and Jon Snow, taking the wight to prove to Cersei that the Long Night is coming again. Probably not able to tear his eyes off Dany and Jon.

Verdict: Dies

It was a little surprising that Jorah made it out of Beyond The Wall, as he was not only expendable (especially as his beloved now has a new love) but also made himself Dead Meat by allowing Jon to keep Longclaw and giving him an almost "I'm done" speech at the same time.

With Dany presumably under threat from Cersei at the Dragonpit, expect Jorah to step up and make the ultimate heroic sacrifice it's looked like he was eventually going to make for the past three seasons or so.

9. The Hound

Game of Thrones The Hound
HBO

Where He'll Be

In the Dragonpit, staring down what remains of his terrifying brother. Cleganebowl is coming.

Verdict: Lives

His vision in the fire ties The Hound's destiny to the White Walkers more than his brother now, and he has unfinished business (just as all of the Beyond The Wall raiders have).

The fight between the brothers is going to be stunning, and it should live up to the hype of the past seven seasons, but The Hound should be the victor. His arc has turned him from a cool antagonist right through to the snarkiest, grumpy hero, and he does feel like he's redeemed himself after some questionable crimes early on, so there's no way he's not winning.

We need an air punch moment in this finale, and him pulling off his zombie brother's head would be delightfully fitting.
