Game Of Thrones Season 7 Premiere: 10 Big Questions We're Asking After 'Dragonstone'

10. How Much Will Things Escalate Between Jon And Sansa?

The rivalry between Jon and Sansa, hinted at last year, starts to come to the fore in Dragonstone, as the pair clash over various leadership decisions Jon makes.

Setting aside the notion of who to give lands to, the main point of consternation is one of geography: Jon, rightly so, is only focused on the threat that lies to the north; Sansa, understandably so, is more wary of the one from the south. Jon doesn't really know the South, Sansa doesn't really know the North, so it makes sense this would be a wedge between them.

That chasm is only going to grow wider before it can be closed. The seeds have been planted in Sansa's head by Littlefinger, and while she may not be buying what he's selling, she does clearly feel some right to rule Winterfell.

It's not a question of whether or not things will escalate between them, but how much. They are still blood relatives after all, and while Sansa is a shrewd player of the game now it's hard to believe she'll go too far against her family. Jon has bigger fish to fry, but he'll need to be wary of the threats close to home.
