Game Of Thrones Season 7 Reactions: What "Dragonstone" Really Means

9. The Night's King Has Giants

As if the White Walker army wasn't fearsome enough already, the creepy shot of their merciless march onwards revealed that the Night's King also now has zombie giants among his forces. Which adds a whole new scary dynamic, since the last living giant Wun-Wun ended up as an arrow-filled kebab in season 6.

So presumably the army of the living are going to have to deal with them with Dragonglass alone (unless they end up being the showy centre-piece of either a dragon destruction sequence or Cersei lends some of her Wildfire to the fight).

Whether he has an undead Hodor among his ranks remains to be seen for now.

The sequence also revealed that the Night's King basically brings a portable storm with him, which makes the wights' adaptation to the warmer climbs of the South an irrelevancy now. They don't need to prepare to melt when they can command a storm to walk in.

None of this explains how Bran - a young lad with no use of his legs and pulled by a single girl who probably doesn't get to eat very often - can outpace them quite remarkably.
