Game Of Thrones Season 8: 12 Things You Might've Missed In 'A Knight Of The Seven Kingdoms'

10. Tyrion & Bran's Connection

While the focus coming into this week's episode was on Bran and Jaime, it was another Lannister who had an arguably more important scene with him. Tyrion was the first to really sit down and get Bran to open up about what had happened to him. We didn't see their conversation, but that might well be deliberate - there's a change in Tyrion's demeanour afterwards, which might just be the wine, but could be he knows something.

The callback here, anyway, lies in the second episode of Season 1. There, Tyrion says he'd like to hear what Bran has to say when he wakes up. He also expresses, a couple of episodes later, an affection for "cripples, bastards, and broken things", which both he and Bran are. Here we are, in the second episode of Season 8, and Tyrion finally gets to hear what Bran has to say, and it makes perfect sense that it'd be him, because of that connection.
