Game Of Thrones Season 8: 7 Clues From Episode 3's Trailer

1. The Night King MIGHT Appear

And finally another big one.

While the final shots of A Knight Of The Seven Kingdoms showed the Dead Army and its vast number of White Walkers, it conspicuously left the Night King himself hidden. It appeared that he wasn't going to turn up to the battle to protect himself from the plan to bait and defeat him.

But there's a ver brief shot in the trailer that seems to show Viserion in a cloud of smoke. If we put together the Godswood footage and this, it would appear that using Bran as bait actually does successfully bring the Night King there. The question now is how Bran escapes and how Jon gets out of direct combat with the leader of the Dead Army.

Because this SURELY can't be it for their fight? Not with two more episodes to go before the finale. Surely that comes in Episode 5 when the second big battle for the Seven Kingdoms happens in the South? If that is the case, they're going to have to do some serious writing to get Jon out of this.
