2. The Godswood Burns (And Rhaegal Falls)?!

There are some pretty alarming shots of Jon Snow in the Godswood in the trailer, only it's not as we've seen that location most recently. He is shrouded in smoke and burning embers rain down around him. In other words, the Godswood, where Bran is waiting to bait the Night King, is burning.

That means the Winterfell defences have failed badly, but there's more here too. In the shots we saw of Jon with Dany, he's up a height waiting for the Night King, with the distance confirming that he has flown there with Rhaegal and intends to defend Bran with the dragon. In the Godswood, Jon definitely appears to be on foot and has a visible head injury.

Could this be a suggestion that Rhaegal has fallen too? Or has at least been incapacitated to such an extent that Jon has to continue his defence of Bran on his own? Perhaps the fire is evidence of dragon on dragon warfare and Jon doesn't exactly win?

And what comes before Jon makes it to Godswood? This last stand by Theon, who is probably one of the top three dead meat characters for the episode, sadly. At least he got his shot at redemption, though.
