Game Of Thrones Season 8: 8 Clues From Episode 4's Trailer

1. Jon Leaves For Kings Landing?

Jon isn't staying at Winterfell. The trailer shows him leaving on horseback with Ser Davos, with his horse carrying saddlebags suggesting it's not a short journey.

The fact that people are standing around - including Gilly - watching him leave suggests this is an important departure without it being all-out war, since there are able bodied men left behind.

Could this be Jon heading south to parlay with Cersei again? Notice Dany seems to spend a lot of the trailer on her own (or with her dragons at least) - it would make no sense to take Dany South for negotiations, considering her volatility, but Jon would be a smarter candidate.

This would seemingly also fit in with set leaks from before the show's release that showed Jon and Cersei meeting alone in King's Landing.

He's also not going alone (which the shots of the fleet confirm anyway): he's got the remains of the Unsullied with him. Perhaps this is who is on the fleet with him?

It also does look like Cersei is looking out over her kingdom at the end of the trailer as if receiving someone? Might we be about to see a meeting that doesn't amount to war? And could this be Cersei's opportunity to strike out and reinforce her position as the villain of the piece?

It's not like Jon would die here, but he might lose some allies as Cersei turns on him.
