Game Of Thrones Season 8 Breakdown: What 'The Last Of The Starks' REALLY Means
5. More Of Cersei's Plan Revealed
We saw two more details of Cersei's plan to win the Last War and cement her position of power this episode. First, we saw her bringing all of King's Landing's people within the walls of the Red Keep, which serves both her attempt to further weaponise their fear of Dany as a "wild" invader and also gives her a human shield compromised of thousands of parts.
That's ingenius in both respects, particularly because it means Dany has to choose to spill innocent blood to take Cersei down, which would be disastrous in the long-run because Dany's whole agenda is to present herself as a fair and protective ruler. For them to start from a position of fear would not be any good, no matter what Tyrion said about fear and leadership.
The other aspect of her plan we saw more of was her using Euron to cover her pregnancy by Jaime. This episode she outright told him he was the father, which adds added flavour to the coming reunion between Cersei and Jaime.
