Game Of Thrones Season 8 Ending: 10 Last-Minute Predictions For The Finale

8. Grey Worm Dies (And Probably Drogon), But The Unsullied Leave

Just as you can sympathise with Dany's emotional breakdown (if you were paying attention and aren't a petition-signing diaper baby that is - hi guys), you can absolutely understand why Grey Worm would willingly take part in a massacre. He lost his love and the one thing in his life that made him feel human again.

Unfortunately, what he did also means he's probably going to have to pay and his close alignment with Dany means he's in the way of anyone wanting to deal with her. So we can expect him to be killed off.

Drogon's in a similar position too. The dragon is Dany's walking bodyguard, even if he can't exactly sit next to her throne. Or maybe he can. Either way, he's definitely in the way and if anyone tries to get anywhere near Dany to threaten her, he's hardly going to sit by and accept it. That's his mother. Unless there's a smart way of writing him out so that Dany's fall can happen, he can't really survive.

On top of that, if the worst happens to Dany or even if it doesn't, the Unsullied have no place in King's Landing. As Grey Worm's tragic plans with Missandei foreshadowed, they don't feel like they belong. Wouldn't it be more appropriate for them to leave Westeros entirely and go back to Dany's older manifesto of killing slavers around the Seven Kingdoms? You know, since the number of Unsullied is still way too big for the Starks to just fight off.
